Continued Growth Drives Appointment of New Members

TIH is very pleased to announce that Joseph Shea has joined TIH’s Executive Team as Chief Procurement Operations Officer.  Joseph has a wealth of experience in different platforms including Finance and Procurement, additionally interacting with various customers having previously worked for Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Cadbury Schweppes.  We are very pleased to have Joseph come in and focus on the Operations side of the business including supply chain, inventory control and monitoring the competitive landscape.  He will also oversee our logistics operation ensuring we are functioning efficiently which is not only beneficial for TIH but for our customers.  With Joseph’s expertise, we will achieve even higher levels of operations which in turn supports our team to achieve their next level of goals.

 The Company has added additional resources to the Financial, Administrative and Quality areas as well.  Brandon Chornobroff takes on new role as Chief Financial Officer to support our next chapter of growth.  Brandon comes to us from various industries where he implemented new processes and increased operating efficiencies.  Brandon will be responsible for the Company’s Finance and Administration, including the improvement of controls and optimizing its Financial and Information Technology Systems.  Brandon is assisted by Sharon Kaikini, Finance Administrative Specialist, along with new appointment of Johnson Chang as Staff Accountant.  Johnson’s expertise in accounting systems and having worked in closely related industries will ensure a smooth transition into his new role.

Sam Bartholomew joined as Director of Quality and Technical Services.  Sam has worked in the food industry for over 15 years and has a wealth of knowledge on all aspects of Quality Management.  Sam has developed and implemented quality policies and procedures and additionally has experience with production plant operations and blending of materials.

Peter Brown has been appointed Chief Business Development Officer leading the sales effort with existing customers and the pursuit of new business within each Category.  Peter is already strongly linked with our key customers and his longevity with the business makes him a natural choice for this key position.  As such, Michael Hall, Elizabeth Hall and Kurt van Mol are appointed lead positions as Directors over their respective Categories of High Intensity Sweeteners, Polyols and Specialty which includes Hydrocolloids, Fibers and Cultures.  This assignment will give greater focus upon on the three main pillars of our business.

With these additions to the team, TIH has decided to make some changes at the top with the move of Rudi van Mol to assume the role of CEO responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the business.  Graham Hall will move to the Executive Chairman role where his experience will be used in a free ranging way as he focuses upon the areas of the business where he sees appropriate.
