Tara Gum can be used in a wide range of applications such as dairy products, ice cream, sauces and jams for improved viscosity and reduction in syneresis.  It can also be used in meats, sausages and hamburgers for water retention to create a juicier product.

Tara Gum is label friendly as it is Non-GMO, gluten free, is low calorie, and is a soluble dietary fiber making it a healthy hydrocolloid choice.  It is structurally similar to locust bean gum and can be a very cost-effective replacement solution.  It can be used as a stabilizer, thickener, and emulsifier.  Additionally, it has an excellent freeze-thaw stability and has a buttery mouthfeel.
